Three Winter Staples for 2021

Happy December! Though Southern California weather is fairly warm, I am excited to prepare my wardrobe for the cooler winter months ahead. I am all about purchasing staple items you can pair with any piece: an item that ages well with use. In preparation for the holiday season, I am excited to share three essentials I always gravitate to in my closet. These items are perfect treat- yourself purchases, and can also be fantastic gifts.

Hunter Boots

A stylish, high quality pair of rain boots is a timeless purchase you are sure to get your money’s worth. I recently purchased my first pair of Hunter brand boots and I am very pleased. The durable material is perfect to protect you from unpredictable weather, and the super stylish boot is definitely an added bonus. Nordstrom Rack has an awesome selection of Hunter boots whether you prefer knee high or ankle. Costco also sells Hunter boots!

Blazer

One of my favorite clothing pieces to rock in the fall months, and even year round, is a blazer. The style can be worn more professionally, or more casually, so it is a great versatile piece. In the past, I splurged on an Alice and Olivia blazer jacket combo style and it has been worn often. If you are looking for a more affordable, yet still stylish and good quality option, I really love the blazers at Target. The simple black blazer I own from Target is a staple item and a dupe for more expensive blazers from Calvin Klein and other big brands.

Paige Jeans

I recently purchased my first pair of Paige jeans, and I am in love. In my experience, they fit true to size which makes them much easier to shop for. Although on the more expensive side, these jeans are clearly high quality and the flattering fit is something you can’t put a price tag on. A great way to save some money but enjoy these incredible jeans is by purchasing them on Nordstrom Rack; their wide selection gives you a plethora of stylish and cute Paige Jean styles.

I hope y’all found some fun new purchases (or gifts) for this winter season! Enjoy the perfect weather for a book and a blanket, and I hope your winter is full of holiday cheer!
