There is definitely been a buzz about subscription boxes from Ipsy, Pura Vida, Elevated Faith… you name it! Over the past few months, I tried these subscription boxes wanted to share my honest experience! Overall, I had a really fun experience with these subscription boxes and enjoyed getting to see what each month’s product would be, it was like Christmas every month!
Pura Vida Jewelry Club
You can’t go wrong with buying any item from Pura Vida, so I had a feeling this was going to be a great subscription box! When signing up for the subscription box, you choose your ring size, so any ring I receive in my subscription box would fit perfectly. Something that immediately appealed to me when I received my first box was the incredible, yet environmentally friendly packing. The packaging included 5 or 6 stickers in a pamphlet which explains the brand’s story and purpose, a durable box (shown in the first 2 pictures) and cloth bags to hold the jewelry. All these fun additions to the subscription box made this purchase an experience, as if you were in Costa Rica and just bought this jewelry from a boutique. What I love most about this subscription box is that each set has different styles of jewelry. The first box had a bracelet and an ear cuff, the second box had an anklet and a toe ring, and the third box had earrings and 2 stackable rings. It is really nice to have a variety of jewelry items because I found some new favorite pieces that I wouldn’t normally shop for! I definitely feel like you are getting your money’s worth with the Pura Vida subscription box not only because of the packaging and the many stickers, but because of the the amazing jewelry which is valued much higher than the retail price. Pura Vida also offers a monthly bracelet club, which I also recommend for a less expensive option to try because Pura Vida is mainly known for their iconic wax and thread bracelets. Pura Vida’s mission is to provide full-time jobs to artisans worldwide and donate millions to charity, so not only do I look good wearing the jewelry, I feel good wearing Pura Vida.

Ipsy Glam Bag
Ipsy is a very well known beauty subscription service, so I had to try it out! When purchasing the subscription box, there is a thorough 5 minute quiz where you select your favorite product types, and products you don’t want to receive. The Glam Bag is $12 a month and includes 5 full size products, valued at $50. There are also two other glam bags to choose from: Plus and Ultimate. With the subscription box, you may also add items to your bag at discounted prices. Although I experienced shipping issues which caused the package to arrive a month and a half late, when the box finally came it was worth the wait. The bag included blush, highlighter, concealer (which fit my skin color well), 2 face masks, and an eyeshadow palette. Each product was extremely fun for me to try out because they are brands that I wouldn’t usually know about or purchase makeup from. I really loved how personalized the bag is, and the whole experience was fit to my liking from the quiz I filled out when purchasing the service. Despite the frustrating shipping delays, I think every makeup lover would adore this bag!
Elevated Faith Monthly Club
I had such a great experience with the Elevated Faith subscription box, and I was happy to support a brand that gives 10% of their profits to Christian charities! The subscription box is $19.99 a month, and it is great that you can cancel the box any time you need. When purchasing your first box, you select a size for your bracelets; my wrists circumference are about 7 inches around, so I chose small and the bracelets fit perfectly. The packaging was very simple as it only had a cloth bag (shown in both pictures) that held the bracelets. The bracelets I received are very high quality and perfect for everyday wear. Elevated Faith also offers a sticker club for $6 a month for some inspirational stickers that are great to put on your laptop, water bottle, phone case, Bible, whatever you want!
P.S. A subscription box would be a great gift, because it is literally the gift that keeps on giving!
