Spring + Summer Necessities

Calling all you warm weather lovers, this blog is for you! It’s time to start putting together your ultimate late spring and summer 2020 closet, and I am sharing everything you need to create the best summer outfits! With all the chaos in the world (stay safe and healthy y’all), online shopping and putting together existing outfits in my closet has made me super excited for summer and the rest of spring, regardless of what is happening in the world. I hope this blog helps you find some cute, staple pieces to add to your closet. After wearing sweatpants and a hoodie on the daily during quarantine, I can’t wait to wear all the cute outfits once I am free to venture out of the house!

The perfect dresses

As a girly girl, I am obsessed with wearing dresses. Whether I wear a a casual dress with sneakers, heels, or sandals, I always feel so girly and put together. This floral ribbed dress from Target is such a steal! This dress feels very high end and is such a cute and flattering style. In my opinion, every girl needs a classic wrap dress, and this Billabong striped dress is perfect. The thin material makes it a very comfortable dress for everyday, and the ruffles and stripes add the cutest touch of personality. Even if you aren’t a fan of dresses, I would really recommend going out of your fashion comfort zone and trying out one of these dresses, they are so comfortable, flattering, and worth every penny!

Tops and shorts galore!

A good pair of jean shorts is a must-have, especially for me in the warm California summers. These high rise Abercrombie jean shorts are my all time favorite pair of jean shorts: they are true to size, the ideal length, and the dark wash is the perfect color – I couldn’t recommend these enough! To pair with these jean shorts, this white lace Abercrombie top is perfect. I fell in love with this top when I saw it, and it totally lives up to the expectation; its classy, stylish, comfortable, and super flattering. Although it is a little bit on the more expensive side, this is a top that is worth splurging on because how versatile it is, and it can be worn all year round! Flowy shorts are never a bad idea; they are so easy to throw on and can be paired with anything. This red floral pair of Hollister shorts are super flattering because of the thick waist band, and I always get so many compliments on them!

Little things for the ultimate summer day…

There are some accessories and items that complete the ultimate ‘summer vibes’ aesthetic. Everyone needs a go-to swimsuit, hat, pair of sunglasses, and pair of sandals, so I am linking my favorites! This snake print bikini top from Target is trendy, flattering, and a reasonable price! You can pair this adorable bikini top with any black or white bikini bottom as well! Target swimsuits are affordable and adorable, and I would definitely recommend this bikini top. You’re going to need a hat to throw on to protect you from the sun, and this Blessed hat is just the cutest! I love the distressed look and the mesh material in the back is very comfortable. To capture your amazing memories that you make wearing these outfits or these accessories, the Instax film camera is perfect. I seriously love my Instax camera because there is something about film that captures memories more than a picture on your iPhone. The color is also so beautiful and it’s very cute with the camera case 🙂  I constantly wear flip flops and sandals during spring and summer but I have never had a pair that is comfortable and stylish… until now. These espadrille style sandals are very comfortable and simply amazing, and I feel like I can walk a mile in them! Last but certainly not least, a good pair of sunglasses is a must! I recently splurged on my first pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, and I am am very impressed! I feel like this pair of sunglasses frames my face well, and they feel very high quality on.
