What to wear for a workout!

Motivating yourself to workout may be a struggle, so I am here to help. Feeling comfortable and confident when you work out is ideal and the best way to reach your goals.

Workout tops

Your workout outfits should be as functional as they are stylish and some of my favorite brands are Lululemon, Athleta, Calia by Carrie Underwood, Nordstrom, and Nike. For more cost effective outfits, you can shop at Target, Old Navy, and Kohls.  The two-in-one tanks are very convenient and comfortable. One of my favorites is the Free to be Serene tank from Lululemon. If you prefer long sleeve tops, one I recommend is the Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve because it is breathable and anti-stink. Wearing a sweatshirt or jacket after a workout is very important because it prevents injury and illness by helping your body cool down gradually. A basic jacket/sweatshirt that can match with all your workout clothes is a great purchase.


Workout bottoms

Having a basic pair of workout leggings and shorts is a necessity! Lately, I have been loving pants/leggings and shorts with stretchy and breathable material. If you are looking for a pair of roomy pants, look no longer! The Lululemon Tech Lux Pant are very comfortable and stylish enough to go out after your workout. Workout leggings with pockets are great to put your phone or keys or even a few dollars for your after workout smoothie! Lulu is definitely a splurge, but in my opinion, the quality and comfort make it worth it.



Wearing comfortable and supportive shoes is a necessity when working out! Nike, Asics, Adidas, New Balance, have many options for every foot type. When purchasing workout shoes, it is important that you get the perfect pair of shoes specific to your feet, so I would recommend researching, asking sales associates, and trying on different pairs. Personally, I love to wear my Nike Free Run shoes because they are supportive and comfortable for all day use.
